China CCC certification

China Compulsory Certification (CCC) is a product certification system developed and implemented in China. According to the requirements of the China National Certification and Accreditation Administration, any product listed in the mandatory product certification catalog that has not obtained a certificate or has been certified with a certification mark in accordance with regulations shall not be imported, sold outside the factory, or used in business and service venues.

The scope of CCC mandatory certification products includes products related to human health and safety, animal and plant life and health, as well as environmental protection and public safety. Compulsory product certification only recognizes CB certificates listed in the standard catalog of China's IECEE-CB system. In addition, products that are specially processed for export according to the provisions of foreign trade contracts may not apply for CCC certification, but the remaining products that cannot be exported must obtain CCC certification before they can be sold from the factory. Products that require CCC certification under agreements with foreign governments must undergo CCC certification.
